It turns out that he's got secrets of his own, though; secrets that he thinks could jeopardize the relationship he has with his family. Lee Do Han's brother, Lee Ji Han (played by Moon Sang Min) does everything to stop the wedding, but this has some unintended consequences.
Quick review: After Marry My Husband ended, I needed something else that was just as good. Searching around to see what else had the Monday/Tuesday timeslot, I came across this drama and started watching. And got hooked. The meet cute felt like it happened so fast. And then the pressure just kept adding and adding - it was intense in all the right ways. So if you're looking for something exceptionally cute, with great acting and a swoon-worthy male lead (plus some exploration of serious topics in a less serious way), this is a great drama to choose!

Episode 07 Recap
Ji Han finally agreed to approve of the marriage between his brother Do Han, and the failed actress Ah Jung. He drops a single paper crane into Ah Jung's palm with the news and walks away. This leaves her stunned and feeling a bit unnerved. Something is up, and she can tell.
Ji Han resolves to try and build feelings towards Yoon Chae Won (played by Bae Yoon Kyung). Yoon Chae Won is happy that he didn't reject her outright, and the two spend some time together in this episode. There aren't any sparks, though - not like we've been seeing between Ji Han and Ah Jung.
Meanwhile, Do Han's other siblings are angry that things are only looking better for their half brother Do Han. They had hoped that his marriage would prevent him from taking over the company from their grandfather. However, the opposite appears to be the case. They scheme to release Ah Jung's information, and we start to see reporters heckling her family for an interview.
Because of this, Ah Jung moves to Do Han's house in advance of the wedding. The only problem? Ji Han also lives there. Ah Jung catches him unawares as he's coming out of the bathroom shirtless, which results in an interesting confrontation. Because he obviously has feelings for Ah Jung, he's upset that they're sharing the same house. He adamantly suggests that Do Han and Ah Jung shouldn't sleep in the same bed until they're married.
Furthermore, he begins doting on Ah Jung and relentlessly calling her "sister-in-law." He won't let her do any of the chores, but she finds some to do anyways. And that's how she comes across his 1000 cranes, and asks to know what wish he made. Ji Han tells her that he wished to be fine with their marriage, and won't explain any further. This confuses Ah Jung, and she starts to question everything.
Then, disaster strikes. Ah Jung's sister and husband find her acting contract for the marriage with Do Han and confront her about it! While they're angry at first, eventually they realise that Ah Jung was only doing it because she wanted to progress in her career. They expressed their worry for her, and promised to keep the secret.
We also learn that the reporter that's been following Do Han and Ji Han since their mother's passing is looking to clear his name. And he's willing to trade information to do it. Their half sibling refuses to help, though, and reminds him that it won't ever be on the table.
At the end of the episode, we see Ah Jung reflecting outside when Do Han comes home. He's drunk, and tells her that he feels so much better with her around. Ji Han overhears this and gets sad. When he comes to talk to her after Do Han goes to bed, Ah Jung asks if everything is alright. He tells her that it is. She admits to him that she isn't sure about the wedding because she's worried about Ji Han. She asks him if he's really okay with the wedding, but it sounds like a veiled confession of love. He confirms he's okay with it and walks away.
Ah Jung tries on wedding dresses in front of Do Han, but we can tell that she isn't that excited. At the last dress, the curtains open up and Do Han isn't there. Ji Han comes running in, snatches Ah Jung, and runs away with her.
In the epilogue, we see Ji Han break a glass after meeting with Do Han's ex-boyfriend who swore to get revenge.
Episode 08 Recap
Do Han's ex-boyfriend approached Ji Han on purpose in his pursuit of revenge against Do Han. He doesn't say why he's so determined to do this. Ji Han is shocked to find out the truth, but he makes it known that he will not be used a pawn.
However, he does feel bad for Ah Jung. He thinks that she doesn't know and is blindly walking into a marriage where she will never be loved. This is why he pulled her out of the wedding dress shop and said she couldn't get married. At the same time, we find out that the ex called Do Han and dropped the hint that he had told someone.
Do Han realises that something happened when Ah Jung comes back with Ji Han. He knows Ah Jung well from years of friendship, and something about her excuses don't add up. He warns Ji Han to give up trying to stop their wedding. Ji Han and Ah Jung both think about telling each other their secrets, but back down so that they don't hurt each other.
Meanwhile, the grandfather has started to hand the company over to Do Han. Do Han's half-siblings are NOT impressed and wonder why their grandfather is so determined. They think it might be tied to the reason that their mother passed away. His half-sister asks the reporter to dig up dirt on Do Han, and she will find out how to clear his name.
Ji Han starts acting weird again and asks Ah Jung how much she loves Do Han. She hesitates, but remembers she has to act. She tells Ji Han that she loves Do Han a lot. Do Han interrupts at the end, and they decide that Ah Jung should move back with her family for the rest of the time before the wedding.
When she returns home, she overhears her family talking about her. They worry because she's suddenly returning home. Her sister notices that something is wrong, and they talk outside. Ah Jung admits that she doesn't feel like she can act as well as she could, and that she's feeling greedy. She doesn't explain why she feels greedy, but the implication is clear to viewers: she likes Ji Han, and she doesn't want to deny it any more.
Because of this, Ah Jung decides to take on another acting role (in a drama). Ji Han follows her to the set and hands out food. This makes the crew happy and they don't throw him out even when Ah Jung complains. After filming, he compliments her acting, and they dance around the subject of their feelings, but nothing happens.
Meanwhile, Do Han had a meeting with his grandfather and finds out that his grandfather wants him to start taking over the company, and soon. He argues that it's so Do Han can gain power to protect the people he loves. Do Han resists at first, but starts to wonder if it's the best way to go about things.
Ji Han drives Ah Jung home from the acting set, but Yoon Chae Won, whom Ji Han had ignored earlier, spots them arriving together. She makes her feelings known about the situation. She's jealous and doesn't want them to be so close. Ah Jung excuses herself to go meet Do Han, while Yoon Chae Won goes for a drink with Ji Han, and finds out that he's lying about his feelings. She asks him to be honest instead of trying to hide it.
Do Han and Ah Jung share that they're each struggling with things, but Do Han goes first. He admits that his ex is trying to threaten him and take revenge. But he tells her that he feels safe because Ah Jung is on his side. Because of this, she decides not to share what she's struggling with.
Ji Han confronts his brother after his meeting with Yoon Chae Won. He tells his brother to stop lying, and let go of Ah Jung before he hurts her. They fight, and Do Han realises Ji Han knows his secret. Ji Han runs out and calls Ah Jung to meet him. He says it's the last time.
She meets him at a park, and they talk. She asks why he wants to stop the wedding again. He finally admits that he likes her and that's the only reason. At first, she calls him crazy and runs away. But then she comes back and tells him that he makes her so confused. She reaches up and kisses him. And then he kisses her back.
My TMI for this recap:
(THE PREVIEW FOR EIGHT OMG - it's here; it's finally happening).
So I left out a part in the episode 7 recap that was sort of a small scene, but it's something in Korean Culture that I really like the idea of. Conception dreams. Do Han meets with Ah Jung's father (it's why Do Han comes back drunk), and her father ends up telling Do Han about the conception dream that he had for Ah Jung. From my understanding, Koreans believe that both the mother and father can have conception dreams about their children, and that the contents of these dreams can signify what their kiddos will be like.
In this case, Ah Jung's dad says she's like a feisty dog that came in and ate everything up. And he says that this is roughly how she was after she was born. It foreshadows the talk Ah Jung has with her sister in episode 8. And it's also a beautiful moment between her father and Do Han which shows how much her family cares about her, even if they didn't always show it well.
I think it's the little things like this that make me love Kdramas so much. They always make it really clear how people do - or don't - care about each other. And all of it is embroiled in the relics of the culture (like conception dreams), so it feels extra special to me. Almost like a present to unwrap, except the present is knowledge. I like learning about how people live, and what they believe in.
I probably should have put it into the recap itself but, well, I'm still figuring out the best way to write those. Put every detail, or just the main ones? Stick to the facts, or give a subjective recap of events I think are important? I'm sure I'll figure it out the more I write.

Also...THAT PREVIEW FOR NINE. Monday can't come soon enough!
